Slum Improvements : Foothpath & side drains 2895 m, 1515 meter of footpath drainage and 155 meter of wall/palisades beside water bodies.
CReLIC will act as a knowledge and information hub to collect, process and provide knowledge and exchange of information on climate resilient infrastructure to and from LGED Engineers,institutions and agencies.
Direct benefit : CRIM project increases adaptive capacity of more than 134,000 people to climate change.
Indirect benefit : 10.4 million people (6.8 percent of the total population of the country) will benefit from climate resilient infrastructure planning and implementation in the long term.
Direct co-benefits : creation of more than 1,700 full-time jobs , education support to more than 18,000 children and the reduction of local transport costs by an estimated average of more than 20 percent .

Urban Piloting

Under Component 3 "Pilot climate-resilient urban infrastructure measures in the City of Satkhira (Satkhira Pourashava/Muncipality), the CRIM Project foresees improvements to drainage, flood protection, sanitation, water supply and transport infrastructure with priority given to the most vulnerable such as the inhabitants of city slums."

Solid Waste Management Provision of 18,000 pastic-bins for household; provision of 100 wheelbarrows; provision of 150 plastic bins for public places; Provision of 120 uniforms & personal protective equipment for waste collectors and waste workders; construction of 60 RCC bins in slum areas; construction of 5 (average 18 sqmA) transfer stations; provision of 1 garbage truck and 2 trailers with tractor for waste handing;
Slum Improvements 2,895 meter of footpath in nine different slums, 1,515 meter of footpath drainage and 155 meter of walls/palisades beside water bodies;
O&M Fund O&M pilot matching fund of at least 0.3 million EUR.
